LinkedIn Adding Open Roles From Companies Across The Globe

In May, we began testing new ways to add some U.S. companies’ open roles to LinkedIn to give members access to even more career-advancement opportunities. Since then, we’ve gone from about 350,000 to more than one million jobs on LinkedIn.

Today, we’re excited to share that we’re expanding this initiative by starting to add open roles from more U.S. companies, as well as companies across the globe -- with the goal of eventually making every open role in the world available on LinkedIn.

So what exactly are we doing? We’re adding more open roles from companies’ career sites, applicant tracking systems, and third-party sites to LinkedIn. These limited listings are visible to active candidates when they search for jobs on LinkedIn, listed below relevant LinkedIn Job Slots and Job Posts. Job Slots and Job Posts, on the other hand, also reach relevant passive candidates through job recommendations we make across LinkedIn -- like our “Jobs You May Be Interested In” email and our desktop and mobile feeds.

We think this will benefit recruiters like you because it will give active job seekers a complete picture of your company's open roles when they're searching on LinkedIn. And it will make LinkedIn an even more valuable resource for professionals by giving them access to every job in one place.

Adding more open roles to LinkedIn will also take us one step closer to realizing our vision: To create economic opportunity for all three billion members of the global workforce. To do this, we’re building the world’s first Economic Graph -- a digital map of the global economy that identifies the connections between people, jobs, skills, companies, higher education organizations, and professional knowledge and spots in real-time the trends pointing to economic opportunities. Making our vision a reality starts with representing all open roles on LinkedIn.
