Sponsored Jobs Introduced to the LinkedIn Feed, Giving Them Even More Visibility

We’re always looking for ways to increase the reach of your jobs — in particular, your hardest-to-fill ones. With the launch of Sponsored Jobs last year, we empowered you to showcase key open roles to relevant candidates with little effort, helping speed up your sourcing efforts.

And we’re now giving your Sponsored Jobs even more visibility by incorporating them into one of the most engaging spots on LinkedIn: the LinkedIn feed on the member homepage.

This change gives your Sponsored Jobs even more opportunities to be seen by the best passive and active candidates as they browse through news, content, and updates from their network—and brings Sponsored Jobs to mobile for the first time. We’ve started rolling this out to our members, and here’s how it looks:

Over 30 percent of members who view jobs on LinkedIn come from mobile, and Sponsored Jobs will now appear in one of the most engaging spots in our mobile experience. Early results show that Sponsored Jobs on mobile are about 4 times more engaging than Sponsored Jobs on the desktop.

Across all platforms, Sponsored Jobs surface meaningful, personalized recommendations for our members and connect them with opportunities that they might not have found on their own. In bringing them to the feed, we’ve taken special effort to maintain a great member experience, and will continue to track this over time.

We’ve begun incorporating Sponsored Jobs into the feeds of our English-speaking members on desktop and in our iOS and Android apps, as well as in our mobile web experience. And over the next few weeks, we’ll also bring Sponsored Jobs to the feed of our members globally. If you’re interested in sponsoring your jobs, request more information here.
